” Loved seeing the dolphins when we were sailing – and couldn’t believe how long they were with the boat. Thanks again for making our holiday something that brought us all so much joy!”

2 Day Sailing Trips- Dodecanese

Kalymnos Greece

This is the best two-day charter (with skipper) in the Dodecanese. Sail from Kos and (a) enjoy the bays and beaches of Telendus and Kalymnos, (b) rock climb in Kalymnos, one of Europe’s top climbing destinations for all levels of climbing proficiency or (c) scuba dive around the coves in Kalymnos.

An early start (8.30 am from Kos Marina) will ensure plenty of time to indulge in whatever option you choose in Kalymnos.  Our overnight mooring near Myrties is in the heart of the climbing centres and also has great restaurants and bars. Plus we have instant access to mopeds and cycles through our local partner in Kalymnos, Best Moto www.bike-rental.gr if you want to explore the island more. Trip arrives back in Kos about 5 pm to 6 pm on day 2.

This is an adventure trip with frequent sightings of dolphins on the way and plenty of time to practice your sailing skills.

The cost of the charter which includes skipper, fuel and VAT is €1,400 for up to 8 clients on a catamaran (less than €180 per head). Water tea and coffee plus some snacks are provided (other provisions can be procured at Kos Marina before departure).

Good deals for rock climbing or scuba diving (including hire of all equipment) can be arranged in advance, mopeds/bicycles can be rented and an evening meal at a restaurant with stunning views arranged.

Nisyros Greece

The two-day trip begins at 8.30 am with a fun sail from Kos Marina or Kadamena to the pristine harbour of Pali, Nisyros where there is a wonderful swimming beach and plenty of opportunities for our Wildside water sports – sea kayak, sea doo or scooter and water ball.

Transportation will be provided to take you to visit the Dodecanese’ most famous semi-dormant volcano (either in the afternoon or first thing on day 2 depending on weather and time of arrival). On completion it is a short trip back to the picturesque town of Nikia, which sits 400 meters above sea level where you may wish to visit the local museum, explore the town, or simply take a cocktail and enjoy the view.

The first evening a splendid seafood dinner can be arranged in Mandraki or you may wish to visit the tavernas around the marina in Pali.

On day 2, after site seeing or water activities we sail back to Kos arriving around 5pm

The total cost, excluding meals in Nisyros, but including the charter of the catamaran, the skipper, transportation to and from the volcano and Mandraki, entrance fees to Volcano, water, tea and coffee on board, VAT and fuel is €1,500 for up to 8 guests (less than €200 per head).
