Greetings and thanks for your inquiry to sail in the Greek Islands
We are a Greek registered charter sailing company (Wildside) based in Kos with a reputation for providing high quality personalised charters for our guests. It is your Greek Island adventure so we design the trip for you. Our vessels are fully insured and approved under Greek charter law.
The charter vessel for this trip will be a Catana 381 Catamaran with 4 cabins (sleeps 8) and loads of space. Our skippers speak English and Greek and have been sailing for years in the Cyclades and Dodecanese. We know the cool bays for swimming and snorkelling, the isolated places to moor and enjoy the Greek islands as well as the local marinas on each island, the ideal kite boarding and wind surfing sites, where to rock climb, the hiking trails on each island, the best family tavernas and restaurants and naturally we know where to party!
We begin at Kos Marina or an island of your choice in the Cyclades or Dodecanese and sail wherever works based on your preference. Plus we have a number of recommended charters from 2 days to 1 week. Do you want the party islands, the historical sites, the great winds for kiteboarding, or the secluded beaches and lovely bays to swim and relax? It is your trip after all. We make it happen.
Catana catamarans are among the safest that have been manufactured and are regarded as high performance blue water sailing vessels - a strong endorsement.
The total cost of our charter includes the skipper, the delivery of the boat to and from your pick-up and drop point, fuel for the boat, cleaning on completion of the trip, full Greek insurance and VAT but does not include the cost of your food and beverage. There are good restaurants on every island and we have a bar-B-Q on board (along with the full galley) to maximise your dining choices.
Payment terms are 50% down payment to secure a confirmed reservation (bank details will be provided with contract) and the balance prior to commencement of the charter. The down payment is fully refunded if you cancel with at least 30 days notice.
There is always something to do on a Wildside charter. On the boat we carry a sea kayak, sea doos or scooters and upon request (at no cost) we can bring a zorb or water walking ball as well as fishing and snorkelling gear. There will be plenty of opportunities to practice your sailing skills with our skipper providing you with expert tuition and advice. Or do you want us to sail and you chill-out?
